Financing Your Solar Investment
A solar system is an investment in your home
or business that will provide more than twenty years of service. It is
common for home and business owners to finance such investments. In Southeastern
PA, there are currently several ways to finance solar energy systems.
Grants and Financing
SDF Solar PV Program -
The Board of Directors of the
Sustainable Development Fund (SDF) has approved a program to support the
purchase and installation of solar photovoltaic(PV) systems in the PECO Energy service territory.
Since 2001, the program has provided grants for PV systems, and a variety of consumer loans and
financial incentives. For more details, see the
SDF Solar PV Program announcement.
