Investment Tax Relief for Solar Energy Property

Commercial entities that invest in solar energy property (such as solar PV or solar water heating) are eligible for a federal tax credit up to 10% of the investment or purchase and installation amount. In addition, the federal government offers a 5-year accelerated depreciation for all solar energy equipment.
