• Liz Robinson, Exec. Director

    Prior to coming to PSEA, Liz founded and directed the Energy Coordinating Agency (ECA) for over 30 years. ECA provides energy efficiency, education, workforce development, home repairs and bill payment services to thousands of low income households in PA and DE. Liz also co-founded and directed the Keystone Energy Efficiency Alliance, the energy efficiency trade association for PA and NJ. She also managed the Energy Cooperative Association of Philadelphia.

  • Lisa Rose, President

    An architect, by training, Lisa has been actively involved with solar energy since the late 1970’s. She worked with the Solar Lobby in Washington, in the early 1980’s, and shortly thereafter, received a grant from the Governor’s Energy Council. Lisa has taught several courses in green design to Philadelphia Public School students, and was given an Educator 500 Award for this work.

    In 1993, along with several veteran PSEA Board Members, she founded and coordinated the Philadelphia Junior Solar Sprint, and continues to organize this annual event. Currently, Lisa does freelance graphic design, and spends much of her time and energy volunteering and expanding PSEA’s reach.

  • Vincent O'Grady, Vice President

    Vincent has a breadth of knowledge in the alternative energy field, ranging from photovoltaics, LED lighting to electric charging stations. He attended the U. of Delaware’s PhD program in Energy and Environmental Policy, where his dissertation topic was green building. Vincent’s plug-in hybrid car returns to his NetZero energy home each evening.

  • Ron Celentano, Treasurer, Technical Director

    Ron is a solar energy industry consultant with Celentano Energy Services, dedicated to the adoption of solar energy technologies, small wind & energy efficient technologies. He provides education about the technology & economics of solar; system design; technical assistance; oversees the installation process & conducts testing & inspection of PV projects.

    Active with PA solar energy policy issues since 1997, he helped craft language for net metering and interconnection laws & regulations, and spearheaded the solar share requirement under the PA Alternative Energy Portfolio Standard (AEPS). He advises the PA DEP on solar issues. Ron helped develop the PJM MADRI Interconnection Model Procedures.

    He is President of PASEIA, VP of MSEIA for PA, and also on the Technical Advisory Board of Power Up Gambia. He holds a BS in Physics and an MS in Mechanical Engineering.

  • Maureen Mulligan, Board Secretary

    Maureen was co-founder of the Keystone Energy Efficiency Alliance, where she successfully lobbied for passage of Act 129. Prior to that, she worked as Chief of Community Relations for the PA PUC. In 2002. she launched Sustainable Futures Communications, a renewable energy consulting business. Maureen has represented the major solar energy associations in Harrisburg and was instrumental in getting landmark solar legislation and funding passed in PA. She “mostly” retired a few months before the pandemic broke.

  • Anil Babooram, Board Member

    A native of Trinidad and Tobago, Anil trained at the University of Pennsylvania in Electrical Engineering. In 2007, he founded Sumintra, a solar thermal and photovoltaics installation company. Anil currently works as a solar designer and installer. He is NABCEP certified,, and his work area encompasses NY, NJ and PA, and graduated from the University of PA with a degree in electrical engineering.

  • George McGrady, Board Member

    George is a former IBM sales executive with a marketing background, earned in Merrill Lynch’s NYC corporate headquarters. His initial solar experience came with solar domestic hot water (DHW) systems during the HUD Grant programs of the late 1970’s. He was the originating co-founder of International Cogeneration Corporation (ICC - NASDAQ) after which he consulted with technology start-ups and has been an active photovoltaic solar advisor for the last 15+ years.

  • Roger Clark, Board Member

    Roger’s clean energy career spans 40+ years, starting at the Governor’s Energy Council as Director of Renewable Energy & Chief Counsel. He worked for the Pew Charitable Trusts to design & implement the Nonprofits Energy Savings Investment Program. He later represented environmental organizations in the PA electric utility restructuring cases securing policies & funding to support clean energy. In 1998 he joined Reinvestment Fund, where he designed & implemented the Sustainable Development Fund, EnergyWorks, the PA Green Energy Loan Fund and the Baltimore Energy Initiative, deploying $200m in loans & grants for energy efficiency and renewable energy projects. He worked part-time as project manager of the Clean Energy States Alliance. Retired in 2021, he continues to advocate for clean energy.

  • Lynn McConville, Board Member

    Lynn is the Director of the nonprofit group Power Up Gambia, which works to build solar systems for hospitals and health facilities in West Africa.

    Her previous work experience has been in transportation and highway beautification issues at the local, state and federal regulatory, watersheds and water quality education, federal and state environmental permitting, and wetland science including field surveys, delineation of jurisdictional wetlands, project management and mitigation planning.

    She lives in West Philadelphia, and was encouraged by the advice and support of the Philadelphia Solar Energy Association (PSEA) to install solar photovoltaics on her home, back in 2006. Her work takes her regularly to Gambia.

  • Aaron Farfarman, Board Member

    Dr. Farfarman received his Postdoc in Electrical Engineering from the University of PA. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Drexel University. He is widely published in his areas of research including: Photovoltaic energy conversion, solution-based synthesis of semiconductor thin films, colloidal nanocrystal, electromodulation and photomodulation spectroscopy. In 2018, Dr. Fafarman received the Outstanding Faculty Award from the Delaware Valley Section of AIChE.

  • David Hammes, Board Member

    David, a former advertising executive, turned clean energy aficionado, has 18 years experience in sustainability & solar PV applications. He was the Founder of Energy Without Borders portal, and the Founder & President of Quench Water & Solar, solar-powered water pumping & purification systems. David was a 2X subject matter expert panelist to the United Nations, NYC, on solar power & water for frontier countries. He has sold or provided equipment to over 10,000 solar projects , and assisted others in developing projects worldwide, resulting in over 100 MW to date. Currently he represents Exact Solar as a Sales Engineer.

    David’s received formal training via US Green Building Council’s LEED program, Green Advantage, & Solar Energy International’s Solar & Clean Energy for Developing Countries. His formal business education was with Penn State and Wharton School. David is excited to be part of the PSEA team!
