Assessment of Solar Development on Previously Impacted Mine Lands in PA

The purpose of this assessment was to explore in-depth the different challenges associated with siting grid-scale solar development on previously mined lands, gain a better understanding of the roles and responsibilities of the different stakeholders involved in the development process, identify factors leading to successful deployments, and develop actionable recommendations to improve the processes and other factors involved in siting. This presentation provides an overview of the findings and recommendations from the assessment report, and provides an update on the status of the final report document.
